| Licenses may be obtained at any town hall or from authorized agents such as bait shops. Some popular fresh water spots in the area include the Kickemuit River in Warren and Brickyard Pond in Barrington. |
| Game Fishing and Shellfishing |
| Game fish such as blues, snappers, scup, tautog and summer flounder are caught in Narragansett and Mt. Hope bays and in areas such as the Sakonnet, Kickemuit and Warren rivers. No license is required for personal use. Shellfishing areas and times are controlled by the RI Dept. of Environmental Management, call 222-3576 for information or the Dept. of Fish & Wildlife, 222-3075. | |
